PIMA (Parents Instrumental Music Association of River Forest) is an organization that can trace its beginnings as far back as 1974, yet our original vision and goals remain – To promote the instrumental music programs at District 90 and to provide maximum benefits and an enhanced learning experience for District 90 students. Pay your 2016-17 dues here.
Our funding each year comes from three principal sources: PIMA Dues paid by parents, once-a-month Roosevelt Fun Lunch, and our annual Spring fundraising event, “A Little Night Music.”
PIMA expenditures are intended to augment the music program already funded by District 90 and we work in close cooperation with district leadership and the PTO. Our volunteer board approves expenditures and also volunteers at fundraising and events.
